True. But I am personally opting to establish a subscription-based model, for the following reasons:
- I have greater creative control over my work.
- Relying on advertising revenue or syndication fees can be unpredictable, whereas a monthly subscription fee offers a more sustainable income for me.
- Subscribers will feel a sense of community and support, knowing that their contributions directly support me in my artistic endeavors.
Furthermore, I want to create a type of community that is both exclusive and inclusive. I want to make it about being part of something larger. I want to foster a community where everyone is connected, yet still has that sense of exclusivity that makes it special. It’s inclusive in the sense that anyone who at least appreciates the values and vision of Untilted is welcome, but exclusive in that all of us maintain a certain standard and commitment to the community’s purpose.
I don't want it to be just about consuming content. I also want it to be about engaging, contributing, and building relationships. That’s what will make this membership different - it'll be a living, breathing community that evolves with its members.
